Lowther ICT Club has children attending from years 3 and 4. |
The 3D modelling and printing club continues to learn about the capabilities of our 3D printer. The picture shows the model of a Pangolin. It has been separated into its component parts and the printer has provided the scaffolding where we didn't lie the part flat on the print bed. Lucas easily removed the scaffolding and has taken the pieces home to assemble. |

The reigning world chess champion is Magnus Carlsen. There is an app based on him - Play Magnus - that allows you to play him at various different ages - age 5 is pretty playable, and gets progressively harder as you play him at older ages. It is free to download and we have used it in chess club. Should you download it we do urge you to be aware of e-safety as with all on-line activity - it does have in-app purchases. It is available on most platforms. |
Our brilliant chess club represented the school at the RPA Chess Tournament. For the first time we took 2 teams, who were among over 100 children taking part. We are all so proud at the way they represented the school. |
