As part of Black History Month Y6 looked at the roots of Hip Hop culture.

Dating back to the late seventies and early eighties we looked at the influence of musicians like James Brown and Grandmaster Flash on what has gone on to become one of the most popular music styles in the world today.

Breakdancing was a key part of the evolvement of Hip Hop.
